Born and raised in southeast Michigan, Angela studied the nuances of the English language extensively at high school and college, though she never imagined herself a teacher. While almost an English major, she went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a specialization in Organizational Communication, a field that appreciated the written and spoken word while perfecting its use in a business, corporate and organizational setting. She’s been fascinated by the idea of communicating efficiently and transparently across multiple teams to run successful organizations ever since.  

Ten years later, after a hiatus in California primarily working in the design sector assisting designers and running notable retail locations as a retail buyer, she relocated to Italy, got married, learned Italian and is currently raising a bilingual dual citizen that seems to love words almost as much as her mom. 

She’s freelanced extensively in the Turin area for corporations, including Fiat Chrysler Automotives, translated websites for local gems, like Orso Laboratorio del Caffè, and assisted a teambuilding event for the United Nations at a local food school, Officina del Gusto. She’s reached students as far as China, where she learned to interact with children as young as five years old online, and she’s known to show up on the French Riviera to sell English books to students annually. Most recently, she’s been focusing on providing English language communication skills to working professionals so that they can interact more effectively across cultures. In this last category, she’s gotten to know students from top Italian brands including Eataly, Gucci, Mediaset and more!
